Our tender hearted Dorothy has formed a strong attachment to her little stuffed lamb, Bashful, since Daddy has been away. She refers to him as Bash, or Bashie. She sleeps with him each night and he now accompanies her almost everywhere, causing me to wish I had a few more of him stashed away in a closet somewhere!. He sits on the table at meals, gets dressed in doll clothes, rides on the swing and on her bike and whether she is sad or happy, he needs to be quite close. He doesn't seem to mind all the attention.
