Earlier in the week I had pulled all the boxes down from shelves in the garage, so when we got home from getting the tree I pulled out the box with lights in it and put up the house lights. My Mom helped, and thanks to the family who lived here before us who put up hooks, it was an easy process.
One of my favorite decorations is our nativity scene. During the year the painted wooden box sits in my bedroom. But at Christmas, we open the doors and pull out all of the figurines and it becomes a beautiful scene of Christmas morning.
