Halloween fun

We stretched our Halloween fun over two days with a parade and a museum visit on Thursday and trick-or-treating fun on Friday. The parade on Thursday morning was at Dorothy's preschool.

Isn't she a gorgeous Sleeping Beauty?
Thursday evening we visited a science museum for a members only event with a bat theme. There were all kind of activities for the kids, and great information about bats too! We even got to see a live bat, which was much smaller than we expected.

Friday saw us with good friends for dinner and trick-or-treating. We split up boys and girls and headed out into the neighborhood. The girls had a great time, but tuckered out more quickly than the boys (it could have been the high heels they all HAD to wear with their beautiful dresses!). We brought the girls home where they happily passed out candy to other trick-or-treaters. The boys rolled in later with full candy bags and sweaty heads from the warm, muggy night.
