Decking the halls for Fall

 Although the silly weather hasn't felt a bit like fall the past few days (the temperature has been hovering much too close to the 100 degree mark for my taste!), I decided to decorate for fall nonetheless.  Notice the gorgeous red door that my loving husband painted for me right before he left (with touching determination to make it just right). I have always wanted a home with a red door...so cheerful!
The kids and I painted a fun, fall apple tree using potatoes and apples as stamps.

Now if only the weather would cooperate so we could pull out the sweaters!
